Concrete Plants
100 m³/h Concrete Batching Plant
What is a 100 m³/h concrete batching plant?
A 100 m³/h concrete batching plant can produce up to 100 cubic metres of concrete per hour in theory. It is a balanced choice for regional ready-mix producers, housing and infrastructure projects and high-volume precast plants. Vettertech designs, manufactures and installs 100 m³/h plants in mobile and stationary versions.
| Theoretical capacity | 100 m³/h |
|---|---|
| Example mixer and cycle | 2 m³ batch, 72-second cycle |
| Plant types | Mobile, stationary |
| Materials per hour (full output) | 180–190 t aggregate, 30–40 t cement |
| Truck mixers (10 m³, 1.5 h round trip) | 15 |
| References at nearby capacities | 80 m³ dry batch plant (UK), 120 m³/h plants (Erzurum, UAE) |
100 vs 120 m³/h: it is the cycle time
100 m³/h is usually reached with a 2 m³ mixer: a 72-second cycle gives 50 batches per hour, and 2 × 50 = 100 m³/h. The same mixer reaches 120 m³/h with a 60-second cycle. So the difference often comes from weighing, feeding and discharge speed rather than the mixer. When comparing quotations, ask for both mixer volume and cycle time.
Materials per hour
One cubic metre of concrete needs about 1.8–1.9 t of aggregate and 300–400 kg of cement, so a 100 m³/h plant at full output uses about 180–190 t of aggregate and 30–40 t of cement per hour. This sets the size of the aggregate bins, the loader and the cement silos.
Mobile or stationary?
Choose a mobile plant if you work project by project and relocate every few years, and a stationary plant if you will sell ready-mix from one site for many years. Our references at nearby capacities include an 80 m³ dry batch plant in Manchester (UK) and 120 m³/h plants in Erzurum and the UAE; see our projects. We do not sell ready-mix concrete. We manufacture concrete batching plants, crushing plants and equipment; this form is for plant and equipment enquiries.
